The water in our Leelanau lakes and streams looks absolutely pristine, but is the quality really that good? How do we know? Join Conservancy docents as we follow the water through the winter peace of Swanson Preserve, observing and learning about this precious resource. Of course, we will take a closer look at points of interest along the way as well!
Our easy hike will cover level terrain although roots and rocks can make it rather uneven in places. Hiking poles might be helpful on the boardwalks. Please come dressed for the weather.
