Mark L. Wilson is the founder of New Leonard Media, a Traverse City–based media production company focused on documentary storytelling and community engagement. A citizen of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and a lifelong resident of Northern Michigan, Mark’s work centers on strengthening connections between people, culture, and the natural world. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Central Michigan University and previously served as Vice Chair of the Grand Traverse Band Tribal Council and as a member of the Traverse City Commission, where he also served as Mayor Pro Tem. Mark lives in Traverse City with his wife, Jessica, and their two sons.
