Gina and her husband, John, recently moved to Traverse City after living on Lake Michigan for nearly 20 years. Gina attended University of Detroit and received a degree in Interior Design from Harrington Institute of Design in Chicago. Gina and John started visiting friends in Leland in the 70’s. Finally buying a house on Lake Michigan in 1996. When John retired they made the decision to move to Leelanau County. After living in large cities the Leelanau Conservancy helped them transition and explore their new rural life. Gina has been involved in the Auction, Wild Flower Rescue and OutReach committees. She was on the Board of Saving Birds Thru Habitat for 12 years, 6 as Board President. Gina and John are the “Ambassadors” for the Richard O. Ristine Heritage Society.
