Brighid Driscoll joined the Leelanau Conservancy in 2021 as the Communications Specialist.
Previously, Brighid worked as a digital reporter for Heritage Broadcasting in Traverse City. Before moving to the area she lived in Dearborn, Michigan where she grew up and attended school. She has a degree in Public Communication and Cultural Studies from the University of Michigan. During her time at school, she worked as an editor at the student-run newspaper and as an administrative assistant in the Language, Culture, and Communication office. She also completed media-based internships with Dearborn’s Downtown Development Authority and CBS Detroit in Southfield.
After graduating college and moving to northern Michigan, Brighid promptly fell in love with all of the natural beauty and serenity the area has to offer. She looks forward to getting to know Leelanau more and helping tell some of its story.
