Take a break from the crowded beaches and join docents Jane Gale and Ann McInnis for a hike along the shady, secluded shores of Kehl Lake where cardinal flowers bloom among many other native plants. The Ottawa and Chippewa tribes met at the water’s edge over the centuries and perhaps you will experience the timelessness of this special natural area. The trail is gently sloping but traverses wetlands so choose appropriate footwear.
