Join us in expanding our fern family at Palmer Woods. Starting at 5pm on May 20, our LC staff and trail crew will be on site planting ferns within the Helen and Dan Palmer Fern Garden alongside the Palmer Family. Nestled in the heart of the Palmer Woods property, this diverse fern garden showcases dozens of species of one of our favorite plants that are native to Michigan. Learn how, where and when to plant ferns, and become acquainted with some of what makes them so special. Following the planting, join us in the Julie R. Weeks pavilion for snacks provided by Bridget Palmer. We hope to see you there.
