Join us for an afternoon walk through one of Leelanau’s most well-known family farms. Bardenhagen Berries has been growing locally loved strawberries and other produce on this same land for five generations. And as a farm permanently protected through the Leelanau Conservancy, it always will.
We’ll gather at 3:30 for a casual meet and greet before heading out with farmer Pam Bardenhagen, who’ll share the story of the land and what it takes to keep a working farm going today. Leelanau Conservancy staff will talk about how this land is protected before setting out on a 25 – 30 minute walk through the fields.
