A Walk in the Woods at Kehl Lake Natural Area

This docent-led hike at Kehl Lake Natural Area is an opportunity to experience the tranquility of a fine old forest in Leelanau County far from the madding crowd. Who knows what flora and fauna we’ll find in this verdant area of abundant growth. Will there be loons on the lake? Maybe. Does the forest know we are there? Possibly. Whatever the case, it’s always a pretty nice walk on a Saturday morning. It’s an enjoyable, meandrous walk and we’ll be back in the parking lot before noon.
