The LC Stream Samplers program collects data on water quality for 19 different streams in Leelanau. Volunteers work in teams of 2, and take samples and data for their assigned 2-3 streams, once a month from May to October.
Sampling occurs in the first two weeks of each month, and typically takes about 2-4 hours to complete. If you have interest in joining the Stream Sampler team, please reach out to Lindy Kellogg, Events and Volunteer Manager, at lkellogg@leelanauconservancy.org to attend the required training and kick-off on April 18th.
