Old Norwegian Fearing Sand Hill Cranes

Submitted by Eric Munson on 8/17/17

From Eric Munson, spotted on July 15, 2017: “This Sandhill Crane is one of a pair which lives on the sandy plain above Narada Lake on the north side of M-22 between Little Traverse Lake and Glen Arbor. They are large animals with a wide wing span and a harsh voice. You may see them as you ride the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail. It has become clear to me that they trot away from old Norwegians. 🇳🇴”
