Megan Ernst is the Donor Outreach and Marketing Specialist at Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities, where she works with donors and supporters of all kinds to help them know more about the organization and the impact of Groundwork programs. Previously, she worked for several nonprofits in Leelanau County – the Leelanau Children’s Center and the Leelanau Township Community Foundation among them – enjoying the collaborative and community spirit that comes with philanthropic work. She is passionate about bringing forth positive and progressive changes to the area.
Megan moved to Northport in 2016 after a long stint in New York City working in the book publishing industry. She loves the instant access to the outdoors and the authenticity in the people who live here year-round. She loves to hike with her dog, paddleboard and swim along the coast, forage and cook with local food, and experiment with her garden.
