Wildlife at Houdek Dunes — Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 am
Join docents Ann McInnis and Judy Hoeffler in exploring the diversity of wildlife species that successfully live within the 370 acres of multiple ecological communities at Houdek Dunes Natural Area. We’ll look for evidence of bears, cougars, deer, fox, weasels, rabbits, bobcats, birds, and much more…while learning why these species are essential , along with the unique native plant species, in maintaining healthy high quality natural areas.
Please note: Dogs on a leash are welcome at our natural areas, BUT not on docent lead hikes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
