June 25th, 2016 at 8:00am — birdJoin this workshop at Saving Birds Thru Habitat, located at 5090 N. Putnam Road, just west of Omena in Leelanau County. This all day event features ornithologists Dr. David Ewert and Dr. Gregory Butcher. Dave will have just retired as Senior Conservation Scientist with The Nature Conservancy and Greg is International Migratory Species Coordinator for the U. S. Forest Service. Dave will present a program about the importance of migratory stopover sites for our Neotropical avian visitors. Greg will talk about the decline of our most iconic butterfly. $50.00 per person and includes lunch. Registration is required and limited to the first 100 participants
