Fall at the Farmstead, DeYoung Natural Area — Saturday October 10 at 2:00 pm
Join docent Dave Amos in a hike around the DeYoung Farm to see the colors and also witness the impressive aftereffects of the August 2nd storm. The oaks, black cherry, maple, poplar and bass wood will be in varying shades of red, yellow and brown and the fields are full of many varieties of late blooming flowers and berries. We’ll even take a brief side trip to see the alpacas.
Please park in the Strang Rd lot. Strang Rd. is about a quarter mile north of the main farmstead.
