Spring is here!
Green shoots are pushing up through snow, gold finches are gold again and peepers are peeping! It’s time to celebrate with a journey into the senses.
We’ll saunter along the forested dunes at Houdek, allowing the sights, smells and sounds of the woods and wildflowers to help us sink us into the season of renewal. If we’re lucky, the lady slippers will be blooming!
We’ll also explore what’s happening during Spring with trees and the cyclical process of photosynthesis. What’s happening when we breathe? What does lichen have to say about air quality? All this and more awaits you at Houdek.
Join Docent Gloria Garrett, a Certified Interpretive Nature Guide, and Docent Keith Rhodes on this lovely hike.
