This hike will explore the glacial history of Leelanau County while viewing the glacial landforms through the leaf-off forest. We will focus on the last three advances and retreats of the Glacier ice and how the present landforms we walk through were created.
If there is enough snow we will snowshoe or just hike if not. There are some moderately steep parts of the trail so come prepared to safely hike winter conditions.
