Docents Keith Rhodes, Sheen Watkins and Karl Hausler will be leading a short saunter along the boardwalk to Lime Lake in hope of seeing some of the Showy Lady Slippers and other late spring flowering plants and any wildlife we encounter along the way.
At Lime Lake Karl Hausler will give a short presentation on the glacial history of the Good Harbor Bay Watershed and Leelanau County in general. The docents will also discuss the history of this parcel and its and its recent additions to this rich and diverse piece of the Conservancy’s Nature Preserves.
