Join our Volunteer Trail Stewards, Mountain Bike Crew and Stewardship Staff for a hands-on experience and learn how to help keep our hiking and mountain bike trails open and safe. Trail Crew meets weekly, Tuesday evenings, May through October. Trail Stewards work independently at assigned Natural Areas maintaining safe, clear trails.
Kick-Off Schedule:
4:30-6 pm: Meet the crew and learn about the work! Spring Cleaning on the trail will commence. Participants should be able to easily hike 3+ miles, as we will hike and remove sticks and debris to ready the trails for biking season. No tools required; we will provide any that may be needed. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, and bring a water bottle.
6-7 pm: Following the Spring Clean-up, we will have a social gathering where you can get to know the LC Staff and volunteers. Refreshments will be provided.
