Open Air Yoga Series with River Studio (July 11 – Aug. 1)

Saturday, August 1st | 8:00am

This summer, join Leland’s River Studio for a series of open air events in support of the Leelanau Conservancy.

Event dates and descriptions are listed below. All proceeds go directly to the Conservancy.

To learn more or RSVP, visit lelandriverstudio.com/#open-air. If cost is a concern and you’d still like to come, please reach out to the studio—they don’t want price to be the deciding factor.

Open Air 01: French Valley Vineyard | Saturday, July 11, 10-11 a.m.
Amy Hubbell leads a morning flow upstairs in the barn at French Valley Vineyard. When class wraps, French Valley pours a mimosa or coffee on the house and opens the property for a self-guided tour.

Your ticket includes use of a River Studio Manduka travel mat and a Leelanau Conservancy Natural Areas Guide to take home. Grab a River Studio and Leelanau Conservancy sticker on your way out.

Open Air 02: Dune Bird Winery | Saturday, July 18, 10-11 a.m.
Jan Van Elslander brings a grounded flow to the tasting room at Dune Bird Winery—slow and deliberate, built to keep you steady on the mat. Afterward, Dune Bird sets out a mimosa or coffee on the house.

Your ticket covers use of a River Studio Manduka travel mat and a Leelanau Conservancy Natural Areas Guide to take home, plus a River Studio and Leelanau Conservancy sticker as you go.

Open Air 03: Chakra Reset Lab at Manitou Acres | Sunday, July 26, 9-10 a.m.
Join Caitlin Watkins, owner of The Healing Hut, to shake off the stress and find your flow.

The Chakra Reset Lab blends the “Greatest Hits” of Eastern wisdom—Acupressure, Yoga, Reiki, and Mudras—with Yacht Rock.

We’ll trace meridians, use sacred sounds to balance each center, and move our bodies to clear the deck. It’s a soulful, rhythmic system reboot designed to move your energy, harmonize your chakras, and bring you back to whole.

Come for the healing, stay for the groove, and leave feeling great.

Your ticket includes use of a River Studio Manduka travel mat, a Leelanau Conservancy Natural Areas Guide, and a River Studio and Leelanau Conservancy sticker.

Open Air 04: Sunrise at Van’s Beach | Aug. 1, 8-9 a.m.
Christen Landry runs a shortly-after-sunrise practice on the sand at Van’s Beach, with Pyramid Point out across the water. Expect arms-up sun salutations timed to the sun climbing the dunes.

Bring a towel—it works better than a mat on sand, and it’s there for a swim afterward if you choose to take a dip in the big lake. Coffee will be waiting at the trailhead when class finishes.

Your ticket includes a Leelanau Conservancy Natural Areas Guide and a River Studio and Leelanau Conservancy sticker.
