Fall for Leelanau Chippewa Run Natural Area Clean-Up

Monday, October 18th | 10:00am

Join Conservancy staff and volunteers to pick up any trash or other debris from the newly acquired Salisbury parcel. The meeting place for the clean-up will be at the Sleeping Bear Dunes Visitor Center parking lot in Empire, MI. From the parking lot, we will walk East on M72 along the southern boundary of Chippewa Run until reaching the forested area (where most of the clean-up will take place). Garbage bags, gloves, and grabbers will be provided. It is recommended that volunteers bring water, snacks, closed-toe shoes, long-sleeve shirts, long pants, and bug spray.
