Cell Phone Nature Photography Workshop at Houdek Dunes

Join docents Gloria Garrett, a former semi-professional nature photographer, and Karl Hausler for a beginner to intermediate level Cell Phone Nature Photography Workshop! We’ll touch on iPhone tips and tricks, exposure, focal point, perspective, editing, depth of field and more. How do I get close to animals in the wild without scaring them away? How can I create more memorable images and “see” more like an artist? How do I find that one great photo from last year? How do I delete a bunch of photos to clear space on iCloud? And how do I get that great shot without harming/disrupting nature? Get informed and inspired while hiking the beautiful, rolling hills of Houdek Dunes. We’ll finish the walk shooting on the trail, editing on the spot and sharing one favorite pic of the day with the group. So don’t forget to bring your cell phone! (We won’t be able to trouble shoot every question, but we’ll have fun trying!)
