Give yourself a time to reflect, breathe, observe as we walk/snowshoe into the marl spring at Hatlem Creek Preserve. We will talk about this special preserve’s significant features as we make our way to the spring. The return to trip to the parking area will be a time of quiet.
We will be using an old logging road which has a mucky spot where the stream crosses. For a safe and comfortable experience, we recommend walking poles and waterproof boots. If there is enough snow, snowshoes are an option. We will be off the road to get to the spring.
