Conservancy Property from the air
I am one of the board members working on our Strategic Land Conservation Plan. I participate in the ecological analysis and botanical surveys for this process and I took this picture of the Solon swamp during a recent flight. Victoria Creek flows through the middle and Cedar is near the horizon in the center. This swamp is a high-quality wetland, little disturbed over time and serves as a centerpiece for conservation in Leelanau. It is truly beautiful and filled with biodiversity.
